    Don't think it's a bed bug looks more like a beetle or something, I had a friend non bug guy say it looked like a plant bug, however it was in my house. It also flapped its wings like it wanted to fly, but it could not. Thanks for any help! Just want to make sure it is not a BB.

    This is a true bug, but looks like an adult mirid plant bug. Adult bed bugs have shorted, stubby, front wings, so can actually flap, but not fly.

    They do have shortened, stubby front wings. No hind wings. And they an flap the front wings (called hemelytral pads).
