I found this dead bug by the baseboard heater near my bed. It looks like a bb to me. Those are its legs on the top in the first picture.

In my opinion, too long legs for a bed bug.

The rest is too out of focus.

You seem far away from it when you take the picture. You have to set the phone/camera to highest resolution and largest picture size. It becomes out of focus when zooming in.

Believe it or not, I was quite close while taking those pictures. My camera just would not focus for the life of me. There is some relief in knowing that the legs seem too long, hopefully it is something else.

It wouldn't work on zooming in? Sometimes a homogeneous background wrecks havoc on autofocus. If the specimen were on lined paper it might be easier to allow it to focus. Some cameras are better at regular pictures and some are tweaked for close-ups.

No, unfortunately :/ I ended up giving the bug to my landlord, and I think she is going to take it to an exterminator to identify it on Friday.
