I just found a dead bug in the monitor on one of my couch legs. It doesn't look like a bed bug...or does it?

No, it certainly doesn't look like a bed bug at all. It's an isopod, nothing to be concerned about, they're harmless.

Isopods are also known as woodlice, some known as pillbugs because they can roll up into a ball for protection. This specimen is not one of the pillbugs. These isopods have many legs - insects have 6.
