I've sealed one of my luggage bag within several layers of contractor bags with half of the DDVP Strips (I read on the instruction that the complete one is for a big house...) since July. Yesterday I opened it and put it outside the dorm to let it air out. Yet I'm still afraid that it might not be enough if there's any bb or egg on it so generally speaking, would this time be long enough to penetrate even the eggs (I've left all the zipped part open when sealing it)? Thanks.

    This is likely overkill.

Latest seminar with Dr. Potter suggested loosely packed items in a bag for 14 days would be sufficient to kill all stages.

definitely overkill, but I sure understand why you would rather be safe than sorry. It sounds like you are going on a trip if you are breaking out the suitcase, and if so, I hope you have a good time!

Actually it's because I put the bag directly under my bed (small dorms...) and one day I was not feeling well so I assumed it might be because the DDVP leaked, thought I tried the pressure and it seemed to be still full of air...
