How do I protect myself from unfair/unproven lawsuits?

    Itchy,
You'd probably need to talk to a lawyer.

I started and run the site but am "not an expert."

also, try to document everything. when you make requests for things, put it in writing and keep a copy, etc. any communication via yourself and anyone else concerned, print off and save. keep track of dates, take photos, and keep receipts. these things might be helpful to your lawyer later on, you never know.

    good luck.

Thank you guys. I will keep track and have been. Actually I am hoping that this may help, as we feel that we are probably not the only ones in the building with the problem (due to many pieces of furniture we have seen thrown out). As for a lawyer I have a good one and if and when the time comes I can use them. I just hope it doesn't come to that.
