This isn't directly related to treatment, but I wasn't sure which sub-forum to put it in.

I have some Aspectek bedbug traps that need cleaning and re-powdering. The trouble is that the outer wells on the traps are asymmetrical and one side is barely wide enough to jam a finger into. This makes it impossible to do what I would have thought I ought to do, which is to dust the walls gently with a cotton ball coated in talc. What should I do? Should I just give the cotton ball a good powdering on both sides and force it through the gap? I need to get this right because I think I may have a new infestation and I need to know for sure.

    Send Aspectek an email?

    I am NOT an expert.
My opinions are just opinions, they may NOT apply to yours or any situation.
My advice is to always do a LOT of research.
A lot of what I read contradicts other stuff on the Interweb.

I've done that too. It's just that sometimes companies can take a while to respond and I'm hoping to get properly set up again as soon as I can (because I'm anxious).

I looked for a video but I didn't find one
    Maybe scour YouTube.
I suspect it is similar to a ClimbUp so look for that video.

ClimbUp doesn't have the narrowing in the outer well that the Aspectek product has. The Aspectek instructions say the cotton ball should be "gently brushed" along the walls, but it's hard to gently brush a cotton ball in a gap that is less than 1 cm wide.
