I've watched multiple videos on youtube on how to make CO2 traps with yeast, sugar, and water. I've also seen a few using dry ice. Do these work if I can get my bed isolated with ClimbUp traps? I think I read that they don't work in rooms that are occupied, i.e. the BB prefer our exhales over a yeast/sugar produced CO2. Is that correct?

They are supposed to be more effective when there is no competition (human host). I caught a nymph in the Bed Bug Beacon when I was monitoring after a second chemical treatment. I was sleeping in the room at the time. I had interceptors on the bed but I doubt the bug was smart enough to purposely choose the Beacon over me because of the climbups. Our infestation was cleared after that.
