    Creeping filth clings to me
    Tendrils in my mind
Taking quiet sips of my solace.

    Itches, twitches, scratches
    Travel my body
Like birds taking flight, landing, leaving again.

    Hope and hopelessness,
    Like sunrise and sunset,
Each bound to make way to the other.

My dreams rise up like welts,
Leaving mysterious marks on white sheets.

    I surrender to sleep,
    To darkness,
To the kiss of my enemy.

I was wondering if we had any artists in the house to do a modern version of the Victorian postcards to go with this one?

    David,
The thought of a victorian-themed bedbug card definitely made me giggle a bit. We could start a greeting card company for "bedbug condolences".
