I am aware that I am letting my anxiety get the best of me, however I am sincerely trying to learn to appropriately identify what I find and as I train myself to pick up on subtle detail- it is helpful to get expert ID on things that look similar to images I have seen. In this case- I found this out by my massive pile of moving boxes which haven’t been picked up since I moved in. What caught my attention was the horizontal ridges in it that does (to me) look similar to bedbug cast skins. I am curious as to what a professional would ID this as in terms of relating to bedbug cast skin. Thank you for your time.

I have a cup full of dead bed bugs on my desk, probably 200 hundred in there as well as cast skins. They're almost all intact except for legs and antennae, it takes quite a bit to tear them into pieces.

Oh god. Made props to you for stomaching that near you. I found it outside by the recycling massive heap of boxes. Does this shape/characteristics look similar to bb cast skins aside from not being fully intact? Now hypothetically, if the boxes boxes were to have bed bugs. Is it likely they could travel there way up to the house? Or would the elements prevent that? There’s no shade so the boxes have been sitting in the sun and it’s been in the high 80s/90s here.

The intact bit was the point I was trying to make; for you to find one torn apart how many regular and intact cast skins did you have to search through? It's just not the way it happens.

Lol! I’m a garbage picker, what can I say. No I was taking out some more boxes from a pots and pan set I ordered and of course being hyper aware of everything now I saw it sitting on the ground outside by the pile of boxes.
