Found these next to bed/wall. An insect and a molting.
Optimistic that it's not the insect we shall not mention, but instead the slightly more welcome Carpet Beetle.

Please give me good news. I have a large rooftop garden bordering my bedroom. I'm figuring they are hitch-hikers from cut flowers.

Thank you for the quick answer! I trust your opinion but would feel just a little more confident if you could point out the distinct features you see to conclude that? It was my gut feeling but I'm not qualified to make a conclusive determination.

The beetles have wings and have lieght grey dots, bed bugs have no wings and arw brown or tan colored or red when fed. Bed bugs have no larval stage, the are basicly small light colored bed bugs when born. Carpet beetle larva are hairy little things mor like little worms, like the ones in your picture.

That is exceptional work. Thank you very much. Now to wage a preventative war on Carpet Beetles...
