Hi! I have had itchy red bumps all over for about a week now and have been concerned it might be bedbugs. I've never had them before but after a LOT of researching I was thinking it might be happening. A lot of bumps are in lines or small clusters. I have torn my room apart looking for any bugs and did not find anything on my mattress, box spring, or bed frame. I do have bugs that occasionally come up my shower drain, and I found one of them on a shirt that had fallen on the floor in the closet, as well as a few things that look like might be skins of something. I don't think the bug is a bedbug, but I am wondering what the bug I found is and if it could cause bites/a rash of some kind, or if bedbugs is still a possibility! I have been so stressed out over this and am looking for some answers! Any help is much appreciated!

Also - have been waking up with these little yellowish almost seed-like things in my bed...thought they might be eggs but they are hard and can be crushed as a grain of rice could...I have 2 indoor cats so it could be related to them but thought I would just include that too!

    Hi,

The sample is a beetle not bedbugs.

The skins are carpet beetles not bedbugs and they may be causing the skin reactions. If you search the forum and read the link below that could resolve your problem:

    Hope that helps.
