Found this bug/molt in my bed last night- crumbled when I picked it up. The markings on it match some of the photos of bedbugs that I have found online. Could this be a bed bug?

    Hi,

    It's 100% not bedbugs, its a headless ladybug/bird.

Other examples exist to compare with if you search the forum.

    Hope that helps.

Any chance anyone can confirm? I had peace of mind until someone on another site told me that is 100% an adult bedbug...

    It's definitely a headless ladybug.
The segmenting that is making you suspect a bed bug is a common trait in a lot of little critters, but it's 100% not bed bug related.
