Hi, I've recently found a couple of these shells/shedded skins (?) on my bed... I need to know if possible whether they belong to bedbugs. (The one in the pic was around 8-9mm long).

I was in a hotel 3 days for the Halloween weekend and got quite a few bites while sleeping, that looked like red bumps and were very itchy... they lasted for two weeks.
But I didn't get any other bite since I got back home (I washed everything I had at 60° , and dry cleaned clothes that I couldn't wash).
I'm still paranoid though and now these are worrying me, please help.

    Hi,

Insect remains but 100% not bedbugs.

They simple don't form those shapes and pieces when broken apart (which is extremely hard to do).

    Hope that helps.

    Thank you very much!
I'll try to figure out what those insects are.

I also found this one in one of my shoes while cleaning them:

Any idea on what it could be?

    Thank you again

    Hi,

    Also not bedbug.

I would look for images of shiny spider beetles but a clearer image on a flat surface or flat bed scanner may be needed for a species ID.

At the moment I don't have any other image, nor have I seen any other insect or bug around fortunately. But will keep my eyes open.

    Have a good day!!

Dried out body parts, not shed skin. Looks like cockroach.

Looks like a mite, but not rodent or bird parasitic species.

Thank you loubugs for the clarification and the IDs!

I'm seeing now that some mites bites can look similar to the ones I had.
I have dried-cleaned the clothes and backpack I used during the trip, and I've kept those things in sealed bags and haven't used them yet since I came back. Do you think some mites could have survived or can I start using those clothes again?
