I saw this bug on the wall in the bedroom by the bed last night. I am sorry the images aren't great. The ones of the bug itself on the wall are not very detailed. I put it on a piece of duct tape and the other pic is unfortunately just the underside
Of the insect . I stay in hotels a lot and worry about bedbugs but keep a pretty tight protocol on checking rooms, keeping luggage in bathroom tied up, and keep Mr Cain's Passive monitors on the beds and sofa and in tbe car just to prophlactically monitor, all of which are clear for past 5 or 6 days I have been home from last trip. I know we had carpet beetles before in the house, it is a big old home.thank you, just very stressed.

Beetle. Yes, poor pictures. Looks like a drugstore beetle. Normally stored product pest. Pet foods to human foods. Anticoagulant rodent baits.

Professional entomologist/arachnologist. I consult on all matters dealing with insects and arachnids, including those of natural history and biology to pest management and forensic entomology investigations.
