Hi all. During my routine inspection of my mattress and surrounding area I came across this creature on my pillow. I initially panicked to the point where I became ill.

I took photos with my iphone and upon closer inspection I am not sure if the shape is right.

Can someone please help me ID this bug? I know the photos aren't the best quality but any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

What is hard to capture is I though I saw some segments in the abdomen. Or possible striations?

Looks like the rear end (gaster) of an ant.
