    Woke up this morning with this guy crawling on the pillow next to me. It is about the size of a small sesame seed. I do not have any bites and after a thorough examination of my bed and surrounding area I did not find any other bugs or droppings. What do you think? Thanks

    I'm no expert, but that isn't a bed bug....but I'm pretty sure this is what you have:

    Not a bed bug. Body, head and antennae are different.

    Yes, I think we can agree that it's a beetle and not a bed bug. Also, most likely a species of Anthrenus (as was pointed out above).
