    Your pictures are so tiny. Difficult to zoom it without it breaking up. Looks like a tenebrionid beetle. Stored food product, maybe.

    A little better, but you must not have your phone at highest resolution and largest picture size. Most likely tenebrionid beetle.

    Thanks Lou, I appreciate it. I found this bug in a trap up in my daughters room today. Can you see from the pics what it is? Thanks Lou

    One picture is a good lateral view. Alate termite. Not sure where you live, but it looks like a Reticulitermes, a subterranean termite.

    Thanks Lou, I live in Northeastern Connecticut. Weve been in our home for 23 years and Ive never seen one of these before. Ive always assumed termites had wings and I dont see any on this bug, ...thanks again Lou
