I know the pink sheets probably makes this harder, sorry. Didn't notice these spots before washing, but when I went to put them on the bed last night - saw them. This is in my child's bed and she hasn't had any boo-boos, sores, etc. that I can think of that would cause any blood. She's also not allowed to have food in the bedroom. Thanks for any advice!

Wouldn't make me suspect bed bugs.

There have been other things making me suspect bed bugs, but have found no concrete signs yet. I just installed the climb-ups and mattress/boxspring encasements yesterday...

Cast skins, live samples or fecal stains, nothing else is reliable.

Found this blood spot on my son's pillow, along with fresh "bites". Not the best pic on the bites, but he just keeps getting these single puncture marks that leave itty bitty scabs that fade over several weeks. ID on the stain please?

    Hi,

The last stain is red blood so also does not confirm bedbugs.

If you look at the “blood spots on sheets primer” it will explain what to look for.

    Hope that helps.

Y'all, can I just say this is soooo frustrating!? I started logging mysterious "bites" (random red bumps/marks/tiny scabs on all 4 members of my household) a little over a month ago. Despite having climb-ups installed under all 3 beds (and only catching a couple adult carpet beetles), encasing each mattress, and having a negative PCO confirmation (although don't feel he did a very thorough inspection), I have found zero confirming evidence. I have found a couple tiny blood spots (as above) on my son's pillow (and a couple more since the photos above). BBs are all I can think about now. I feel crazy, my husband thinks I'm crazy. I can't stop checking skin, constantly. We haven't changed detergents, no new chemicals in the house ... I just can't think of anything else that could be causing these mysterious skin marks (that have only just been happening the past month or so).

I don't know what I'm looking for with this post really, just needing to vent. How long can one go without finding concrete evidence of BBs???

Certainly not all the way back to October of 2017.
The inspection came up negative, accept it.

I let the Oct. 2017 issue go a long time ago - those skin reactions didn't persevere like this new issue is ... hopefully in another month's time, I'll be able to let this go too.

Found these spots on my curtains. Does any of these look like fecal?

    No that’s not bedbugs.

Some of it appears to be fly feaces though.

Ok, I woke up with more bites and found this in my bed. Definitely looks like a piece of poo, I could pick it up easily. But when I wet my finger and rubbed it against the sheet, it smeared. ID PLEASE??

    Hi,

It’s not bedbug faecal. The deposit is too solid for that which is always deposited in liquid form.

Always best to start a new thread for a new case or ID series to prevent confusion.
