Found this on my bed this morning. Paranoid it's a bed bug squashed.

    Hi,

No its partially oxidized fresh blood.

If that were to come out of a bed bug there would be a chalk outline very close.

If you search for the blood spots on sheets primer you can see comparison images. Such marks are most commonly a sign of a myriad of other possible causes.

    Hope that helps.

Thanks. What do you mean by this " chalk outline very close"? What's a chalk outline?

    Hi,

As in the traditional "chalk outline" found at a crime scene once the body has been removed. In this murder mystery we have no body and the evidence does not point to "Miss Noitchplease" with the candlestick in the bedroom.

And hard for others of us to be on a bed bug website for ten years without humor!

I started and run the site but am "not an expert."
