So I’ve been battling skin reactions on my kids- still no evidence of bed bugs

Is it possible to have one bed bug that feeds every month? I’ve noticed a pattern, my son now gets bit about every four weeks or so, ranging from one to three bites each time.

    Is this bed bug behavior

With a food source near, about once a week. Might be mosquitos.

You should leave out various monitors to see what you can catch.

I've wondered if the food source leaves for a few days, like on a trip, the bedbugs also hightail it out to find another food source, for instance, in the the adjoining apartment?

I think they will try to find another food source, but I don’t know after how many days or weeks they start traveling. But I guess some of them still great you, when you return. A few days seem to short and If they migrate you will be surrounded with infested apartments and this is more difficult to handle.

Well, this is a question for Lou.
