    Hi there, I arrived in thailand yesterday and had to move hotel twice as I found bugs in the first two hotels.
    I am in my third hotel and have thoroughly checked mattrass, furniture and curtains. I thought I had found one egg but it fell on the floor, and I found these stains:

    Hi,

    Not an egg and another faecal.

    Hope that enables you to relax into the vacation.

    Thanks for the super quick replied David!

    If it’s alright I have two more questions:

    This is an image of the first hotel, that I left as soon as I found them;

    If it was bedbugs (I think it was a shell or hull of one?), how likely is it that I could have taken any with me, considering I was in the room only about 10 min, and did sit down on a cushioned seat before I checked the bed. My suitcase was still closed and far from the bed though. I think I’m obsessing a bit but also worried that during checking some could have crawled on my dress or sneakers or something :-/

    Hi,

    The additional image is also not bedbugs.

    If you stop and take the time to look at and study the example images when calm and collected you will see they are clearly different.

    I would suggest you watch the hotel room inspection video to also see where to look.
