After almost 3 weeks of searching and getting bit, I finally found one. Just a quick recap. My son found these bugs in his attic bedroom almost a month ago. While ridding his room of them, he spread them through the house. I had found a total of 5 in the 3 days following randomly during the day. The one I kept was smashed by the inspector. Today I found this one hanging out on a spider web on my headboard. I believe it is a bed bug. However, this all started in an attic bedroom near a crawl space. So I don't know if it's possibly a bat bug or chimney swift bug, or something else.

It's too difficult to ID based on the engorged nymph. The behavior is suspect. Certainly be a bird or bat bug. Adult insect required for a better ID.
