    Hi,

    It’s not.

    Look at the end of the abdomen, it’s not rounded like a bedbug.

    Yes it’s hard to focus on the detail when your stressed but this one is akin to mistaking a Ferrari for an F-150.

    Deep breaths, seek out my relaxation resources and come at this with a calmer and better understanding on it.

    Did you compare your insect to a picture of a bed bug? Silverfish.

    Thank you for your help. When I squished it, brown stuff came out. I was under the impression that this only happens with blood sucking bugs??

    And please look at pictures of silverfish as I mentioned above that's the ID of the specimen. Compare pictures of bed bugs to pictures of silverfish. You will see that they are quite obviously 2 very different kinds of insects no matter what the squished out insides look like.
