    It doesn't look at all like a bed bug, so don't lose sleep. It is another bug formerly treated in the Lygaeidae (seed bugs), but now in own family called Geocoridae, the big-eyed bugs. Some predatory and some seed feeding.

    Professional entomologist/arachnologist. I consult on all matters dealing with insects and arachnids, including those of natural history and biology to pest management and forensic entomology investigations.
