Hi! I found this crawling on the current I used for my closest--I don't think it's a bed bug but I'm honestly going crazy trying to figure it out on my own. From what I can tell it looks more like some sort of beetle. It doesn't have the same lines on the back that bed bugs seem too and I think I saw some wings try to flutter (although it was crawling when I caught it) and it also looks like it has a black head.

Here's a link to a bunch I took: [nb: the other thing is a random dead definitely not bed bug I found when inspecting my mattress]

I know these pictures aren't great but I caught it so I can try to take some better ones later.

I *thought* I might have seen a bug crawling in my laundry over the weekend so I instinctively crushed it without checking to see what it was and then proceeded to pick apart my room and vacuum everything--I don't have access to a dryer in my apartment. It has also been very hot where I am and until recently I've slept with the window open which would account for the small, random bites I've gotten.

Thank you SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP!! I've been going crazy!!!

    Yes it’s a beetle not a bedbug.

Nothing to worry about with this one.

    Hope that helps.

Looks like a carpet beetle and a pseudoscorpion.
