Hey! I feel like I'm losing it so hopefully I can get some help here!

I've been (hopefully) bed bug free for about a year, though I check my mattress all the time, have multiple traps all over the bed room, and have basically not slept soundly since.

My question is, how long do bed bug casings hang around? Twice now while doing a really thorough clean of the house, I've found one. Well, today may have just been a beetle... I found it in the washroom while cleaning under the sink and behind the toilet...

Anyway, is it typical for the casings to survive this long? Or should I get my landlord in here again?

    Thanks!

Are you finding them in places you normally clean (ie. could they be new)?

I don't know how long skin takes to degrade, years I would guess.

I would only contact your landlord if your traps catch something.

    I am NOT an expert.
My opinions are just opinions, they may NOT apply to yours or any situation.
My advice is to always do a LOT of research.
A lot of what I read contradicts other stuff on the Interweb.
