The Vancouver Games just started and one Canadian Olympian is itching at the starting post. And of course, the press is missing the point.

I started and run the site but am "not an expert."

Well, we knew this was coming....just wasn't exactly expecting it on the night if the Opening Ceremonies. Hopefully, by Sochi time, things will be better!!

I am so tempted to put out a told you so press release but I think we will have to wait till the end of the games for the medal tally.

Olympics = national yearly tourism in a 4 - 8 week period = at least annual bed bug influx in a short period of time = one heck of a mess for those not prepared.

It's idea Winston but they are good all rounders, great in the sprint and marathon endurance.

Not so hot on the field events though.

David - these events are winter olympics so there is no track & field! I think we should put them all on that luge track from hell and see how they do

How about a blood sucking contest? First one to explode, gets the gold!

Hey, I'd be willing to give gold to EVERY SINGLE ONE that would self-destruct...uh, I mean, explode.

    Seriously, David?

I thought bed bugs suck at everything.

(Thank you, ladies and gentlemen, I'll be here all week!)

Actually given the reported level of bed bug activity in this area BC we will probably see more reports.

    Hi Adele,

I appreciate the lack of track and field at the winter games, I am having a word with the colony in the office to see if I can sponsor them for 2012 on the grounds I don't need to shell out for air fair.

Well David - I can certainly say you are not one for modest goals - these are the Olympics after all!!! You bettter get on the ball and get them training now!!! 2012 is just around the corner....

That is, of course, assuming that the Mayans are wrong and the world does not end in 2012........

Hmmm. Mayans... End of the world... 2012...

Did the Mayans perchance predict the end of the world in 2012 by means of bedbugs? They seem set to take over the world, after all...
