    Hello,

My wife and I live in apartments owned by a corporate chain. We've been having problems with bed bugs for almost two months, and the apartment has sent pest control out once (based on feedback left in our apartment from Abell Pest Control). Traps were put out and monitors (those plastic circles on the foot of bed/couch). Every other time the property manager alleges they were sent out, we never have any indication that they came. This has been going on for nearly two months. I've spoken to her on the phone, and she says they come out on Fridays, but every week, we have no indication that they came. Meanwhile, my wife is getting bites every single night all over her body, face, and neck, and they appear like welts. They're extremely itchy, and they're affecting her sleep and work. We have caught one several weeks ago, and, still, no one comes. We caught another inside our pillow and killed it.

What should be our next steps? I feel like we have no solution, because it's not being addressed by the company or property manager.

I don't know where you live, but maybe call the board of health?

There are county property management offices, that is who I reported to.

Not a pro here. Call me Jon Snow...... for I know nothing, except what I've experienced.

Not property management, my apologies. The housing authority.

It depends where you are -- different agencies are responsible in different areas.

I started and run the site but am "not an expert."
