My 22 year old son had just moved to NYC for a new job - very scary, very overwhelming - only to find one month into the experience that his room had bed bugs and he was very sensitive to bites. Reading everything I could on this site and others I knew swift action was critical. I immediately ordered a simple steel bed frame and the little bedbug trapper cups that we placed under each leg. We moved the bed away from all walls and covered pillows and mattress in Protect-A-Bed encasement. But MOST IMPORTANTLY, I FOUND JOHN FURMAN AT BOOT-A-PEST. I really thought this would be hopeless because the roommates weren't cooperating on treating the whole apartment, but John came treated my son's room and it's been more than two months BED BUG FREE! John is the answer! Do not hesitate. I can't tell you the stress and worry he saved me.

    Google steel bed frame.
There is a frame called a "smart base" that replaces both frame and box spring.
Considering what a box spring is (essentially a box), I'd expect to see replacements made of molded plastic any day.

    Hello Sosad!!!

Nice to see this today after getting threatened with a lawsuit yesterday for allegedly talking bad about a doggy from another company! This helps me remember why I do this type of work. Thank You!

I’m glad everything went as well as they did for you and your son. Two things not typical to this treatment was the fact that I never do just one room in an apartment and this was only one visit where I always do two. I’m sure the baseboard application in the other rooms below helped a bit but who knows, it was a roll of the dice. The seal up work in his room also helped reduce the migration to the lower level I’m sure.

I hope the new job is going as well as the treatment =) wish him my best!

Thanks again for a nice review. KQ

Careful, one of the active forum members is trade-marking the term "doggy".
