    This one involving a space heater, hair dryer and heat gun.

    Not surprised. I mean i can see where they are coming from, this stuff doesn't come cheap. But performing a heat treatment isnt as simple as changing a cars oil .

    I wonder if the bed bugs are still in the building?

    Heat guns put out a lot of concentrated heat. If you have ever used the to remove paint you know that they can burn the wood if left in one spot.

    I suspect he was trying to blow hot air into some cracks and some dust ignited and smoldered, and since it was in a crack, could not be easily extinguished.
