Today, I am getting my final canine inspection and theoretically moving my stuff into my new apartment.
I have spent hours on the forums, more than that walking around and peering at tiny specks, washing things so many times they are destroyed (1 set of sheets, 1 wool sweater at last count), and a ridiculous amount of time worrying, planning, and stressing about how I can be sure I never get then again.
    But I can't be sure, can I?
It's not like once you've had them and 'won' the fight, you become immune. We just live in a bed-bug world and monitoring, education, and treatment are probably things we should accept. I know I need to for my own peace of mind.

    HLH,

I would recommend monitoring going forward. You can't be sure you will never be exposed again, but early detection makes a big difference in terms of getting rid of them quickly.

I started and run the site but am "not an expert."
