I recall seeing discussion here about 70% isopropyl alcohol being ineffective, that you need the 91%.

I recently found 99% isopropyl alcohol at a Kroger owned supermarket near the pharmacy area, it's Swan brand. I put it in a spray bottle and it is awesome, kills bedbugs on contact within 30 to 60 seconds.

You can tell by the age of my handle, my first encounter with bedbugs was in 2009. I moved to get rid of them. This time, I've been using Bug Snarer plastic traps and the 99% isopropyl, being vigilant in checking their hiding places several times per day, and I think they're almost gone. I haven't even seen one in 24 hours, but I don't have my hopes up.
