I read on here some time ago, about someone using large zipper locking clear thick plastic bags to store treated clothes in during an infection while treating. I did a web search and didn't quite find what I hoped for.

Does anyone know of where these are available? Online or otherwise?

    Thanks a lot.

i think i purchased mine (in canada) in a home hardware store. they were ziploc brand giant zipper bags, and they came in three sizes. the smallest ones were good for things like underwear and socks, and the largest ones were good for comforters and the like.

i've also seen them in the dollar store on occasion, just a no name brand. i tried those as well and didn't find them to be as good, the seals didn't last more than a few days. the ziploc seals give out after a lot of opening and closing eventually as well, but they last considerably longer than the no name ones did.

In NYC, Home Depot and Gracious Home have the large Ziploc bags.

In NJ, I also found them at a (large) local Stop & Shop, and at some local hardware stores. Call around and ask for "Ziplock Big Bags, L, XL &/or XXL." (XXL is large enough for most sleeping bags/comforters.)
Home Depot's appear to be in a seasonal/temporary display over with bins in the garden section, so they will either move elsewhere or go away for the winter.

In Chelsea, Manhattan, they're conveniently across from the pest control products.

I would add that I've found the "Ziplock" 2 gallon freezer bags to be a great size. I've used them for paperbacks (holds about 10), separating types of socks, underware, tops, shorts, etc, which I'm putting back in drawers. I got them in Brooklyn at a local C Town supermarket. They sell there for about $4.50 and have 10 bags per box.
