Would a bb crawl inside my sock to bite? ro...

   Last night I slept with leggings, tshirt tucked in to leggings and socks. No bites on arms or chest but I do have a new one on my foot, inside my sock.

   This makes 10 bites on my left thigh, calf and foot....and yet nothing on my exposed arms.

   WHAT IS GOING ON??

   Canine sniffer comes today. Hoping that helps give me some more clarity on what is happening. I just cannot figure out why its my left foot that is the target - even when wearing socks!!!

   Could a BB have gotten in your sock prior to you putting it on? Could it be something else?

   It looks exactly the same as the other 10 or so bites though...and they have been appearing at different times / days...

   They really seem to like the feet....make sure that when you dry your clothes your socks are well and truly dry (hot to the touch) and then go another 20 minutes at least. Hard to get the socks hot right through. Even when I was careful I sometimes felt one biting my feet when I went out....drives you crazy...was either in my shoes or my socks. Now I have a packtite so things are better

   Before my failed heat treatment and before I washed/dried/bagged my clothes, I found at least one bug liked to live in my dresser in my socks as I found it in my sock after I took off my shoes. I ended up buying all new socks cause I couldn't bear the thought they were in my socks, even if they were dead.

   Don't wear the same socks to bed that you have been walking around in for a while - put on a fresh pair if you get out of bed again and then discard them before you get back in and you won't contaminate your bed.
