Why do I have to keep logging in?

There is a glitch right now with the forum software. It goes like this:
If you are logged into the blog, and come over to the forums, you need to log in at the forums, and vice versa.
It is annoying and it is not how things normally are.
If you are not logged in at the FORUMS before you post, you may write a post and it may disappear when you hit send.
(The backdrop to this is that when I changed the site layout, people in IE7 started having problems, like links that did not work. I hate Internet Explorer. But I liked these people, and taking away the function that kept you logged in when you "cross over" between blog and forum fixed the problem, and meant they could still use the site.)
It's a temporary thing. I will fix it as soon as I can, along with the Useful Stuff page and the bed FAQs. Thanks for your patience!
