I think it would be great if the listing of who's online & also to see if one has any PM's, could be moved to top of forums page. Several days ago I pmed bugologist & I just realized that a person wouldn't know it, unless they looked at bottom of forum page. I didn't realize it either,that most who read blogs, don't read forum & vice versa. That could possibly why I haven't heard from bugologist.
On another topic,I have to admit that I hesitate to comment on forum topics, because I can't personally identify with anyone that is or has had to deal with an infestation.

Nobugs will address your questions about the forums and blog, I'm sure, but I'd just like to say that you are very welcome to participate in the forums, or in the blog comments, if you see a topic that interests you. You don't have to be a bedbug sufferer. You're also welcome just to read. It's all good.
Perhaps you have questions about how never to get bedbugs! :) Or you just want to be supportive of someone. Or whatever. I'm sure we all welcome the non-bedbugged public. We so want everyone to know about bedbugs and what can happen when you get them -- how to be good bedbug citizens.
The private messages function is currently down, however.

doormat, I would like to put those notices at the top, but it is not as easy as it sounds. This template is not that easy to edit and still have looking moderately symmetrical.
I am working on some solutions long-term, but in the meantime, I think there is a reminder in the green sticky notes at the top of the forums, that people should click the green private message button or scroll down to see if they have messages.

Nobugs, Thank you sooo much for the efforts that you put into this website & I do understand it would be difficult to move. Thats OK & (for info sake) I know to send a PM, there has to be a subject title or it gets lost in cyberspace. I'm sure things will get better, it just takes time, effort & help from friends.
