    I think you will like this.

    There's now a row of buttons above the post box which implement bbcode. You don't have to know what that is to make use of the buttons. :-)

    To use:

    Write something.

    Then highlight the word or phrase you want to get all fancy with, and then click the relevant button:

    B = bold
    I = italic
    U = underline
    S = strikethrough
    URL = make into a link
    "quote" = block quotes

    And so on.

    If you want to quote someone else, I recommend you continue to use the already existing quote function -- click "quote" under the post you want to reply to -- and please remove the portion of text you don't need to include (leaving the blockquote tags intact).

    Enjoy!

    Oh yeah, I also increased the number of threads that load on the front page. It was 100; now 200 threads load. It does not seem to increase the wait time. This way, you can see a week's worth of discussions.

    (Last time I increased it, some months back, 100 posts gave us a week).

    I will give some thought to restructuring the page layout now we are so active.

    Ha, it was easy.

    No panic button, but good idea!
    What should happen when you press it?

    The government sends a qualified vikane or thermal company to your infested area, sweep you and your family away to a decontamination family resort spa to rest for a few hours/days while your home is rid of the monsters. All prep is professionally done for you and your family have their lives back to normal w/o losing everything, children don't suffer the trauma! Maybe this can be done on tax dollars from cigarettes or through some new affordable home owners/renters insurance with a low deductible? Ha!

    All kidding a side, due to new early detection monitors on the rise and more public awareness on the rise...hopefully there will be no need for a panic button soon. :)
    I cannot believe the amount of info out there now in comparison to when my family was infested. There is sooo much more information now, people have options now, and are not so much in the dark, blind or alone anymore.
    (another big thanks to you Nobugs for your huge contribution on that!)
