Hi all. I had a false bedbug alarm at my boyfriend's apartment months ago...long story. I freaked out and bought ALOT of stuff. Maybe some of you can relate. Anyway, the steamer is now in my apartment. I used it to clean the floors once and now it just takes up space. I paid around $550 for it and will sell it to the highest bidder if anyone is interested. Thanks and good luck everyone.

my boyfriend's neighbors thought they had bedbugs and then we thought we did too. i thought i had bites yada yada we all went alittle crazy. we never found any evidence. the bites stopped and his neighbors apologized. he lives in my place now 6 months later and still no bites sooo...who wants this lovely barely used steamer.
as to your "why did you buy all this stuff?" question, i have friends who have had bedbugs and i know what hell it is. plus, i thought the steamer would be fun to clean with.
yes, i live in brooklyn (see member name). i would like enough money to make it worth selling. otherwise, i'll just have the most sparkling bathtub in brooklyn.

    brooklyn,
Unless you get almost-what-you-paid, I'd personally hold on to that baby. Brooklyn is a danger spot for future bed bugs.

Is it fun to clean with? I think lots of people kind of rationalize buying one for their bed bugs because they would like to have it afterwards.

hmm..i hope it wasn't bad bedbugger etiquette on my part to start the first ever auction. it's not going so well anyway. i'll probably take your advice and hold onto it. these plastic bins have got to go though. anyone?
the steamer cleans great, but it's slightly awkward to handle and set up. not something i'd drag out weekly to clean with.

No, brooklyn, I think an auction is ok. Bedbugger isn't officially involved.
