What's The Deal On Eco Dust?

Last week I asked about vacuuming DE from my couch Well, I wasn't comfortable being put in that position by the PCO, and told him to vacuum it up. after I got a chalky taste in my mouth when I started to vacuum. He finally came today. It turns out it wasn't DE. It was Eco Dust he said with pyrethrins which I know to be bug poison. I Googled Eco Dust . A few products go by that name. Appears not to be too toxic. For one product with that name it said no mask needed unless you use large amounts. PCO also steamed the couch. However, when I came home tonight there was a bb crawling on the sofa arm. Is Eco Dust effective? After all these days, looks like I'm still nowhere. There were no bbs seen while the powder was on the couch. Soon as it was vacuumed and then steamed I see a bug. What's the deal?
