What items can be washed and bagged?

   Can mirrors, plastic containers, plastic DVD cases, combs, barrettes, perfume bottles, etc be washed in extremely hot water with dishwashing liquid be effective for killing bed bugs and eggs? Also, will wiping down medicine bottles or facial cleanser bottles (be it plastic or glass) , toothpaste, etc with alcohol kill the eggs that aren't visible to the naked eye?

   Thanks in advance for any help anyone can offer.
