What is this bug I found on my body at night?

I found this guy crawling up my neck when I woke up around 7am. I can't tell if it's a bed bug or not. Please help!

Not a bed bug.

doesn't look like one

I can't imagine what else it would be!
Long story: I stayed in a hostel that definitely had bbs. I took pics to be sure, and a few days later I was covered in the usual bites. I washed my stuff, but a few weeks later some really small bites began appearing. They didn't look like the big ones I'd had before, but after about a week a patch of regular bb looking bites appeared on my leg. I washed all my stuff again and got a new suitcase this time (I'm a traveller, btw).
This time, a few weeks later, more of these smallish bites appeared. They seem to be more on my shoulders, arms, and hands and they are very small and not in clusters. Then came the day that I found this bugger crawling up my neck towards my hair. I threw away everything that was not washable, washed everything else, got another new suitcase (the old one was falling apart already anyway) and made sure nothing was contaminated...so far so good I think, a bite became itchy on my arm today but it faded quickly and I'm sure it's in the same spot as an old bite, so maybe an old one flared up?So to summarize...what in the ever loving world is going on???? What is plaguing me?

The head doesn't look ight, the body appears to have a translucent structure halfway on making the abdomen to appear darker brown closer to the head.
I don't see any BB characteristics. Without a better picture I'd guess a weevil due to what I can see of the head.

A bug nymph, but not a bedbug one....

I did not know weevils could live on you...do they live in your hair?
It didn't look like a bed bug exactly to me either, but the bites were small so I thought maybe it was just not yet full grown. -
The picture isn't good enough to identify what it really is. EffeCi is an entomologist and couldn't tell for sure except that it isn't a BB.
My weevil suggestion is a wild guess based on the picture. If you still have the thing get some other pictures and google up more images of weevils and see if they match your creature. The eyes and "nose" bring a weevil to mind.

They eat grains.
Capture and save any insects you find.
