Using DE Safely

Since I suffer from asthma and have breathing problems is it possible for me to make a mixture of DE, alcohol and flea shampoo and use it in a sprayer? Would this be a contact killer or a residual? Thanx in advance.

I have not used it personally, but I have seen it in some organic stores and at Lowe's.

I don't think D.E works when wet. Even so I don't think it would be safe to mix it. Have you thought of buying a fumigation mask from lowes and just putting D.E under the carpet wall-floor joints so you wont breath it in? Sorry i'm not much help.
