    Hello all,

I live in a tiny guest house in Los Angeles, and have over the last week interviewed a couple of different exterminators.

One suggests tenting, which involves leaving the premises for four days and boarding my cats. No clue as to what kind of war zone I'll find when I return....

The other uses a combination of canine detection and heat treatments. Included in the heat treatment is steaming the baseboards. He also talked about sweeping the walls (?) if it seems like I have them in the walls.

Another also suggests tenting and gives a two year (!) warranty. Is that even possible?

Prices are comparable; I spent about $2000 last year on treatment and replacing my bed. In the last year I have also replaced my carpet.

    Thoughts?

My question about the warranty would be this: who determines if you
still have bed bugs and what kind of proof is needed?
