what really works that kills bed bugs? are there any home remedies? what can we do to control the itching on the skin? we've tried hot shot in the room where the problem is and they were still alive. will spraying bleach work? and will bagging the bedding up in a bag for a few days kill of those bugs before washing them again. sorry for all the questions but we've never had that this issue before.
    thanks a lot!!!

Adaline30 - Sorry you have bedbugs, and that you have had to join our forum. But, this is a good place to get information. Take time to read the FAQ's. They will help a lot. Ask questions here to clarify. It is important to avoid doing things to make things worse. (Something lots of us do before we learn FAQ's.] Bleach will not work, home remedies help, but usually ONLY in combination with treatment & guidance of a Professional PCO. There is a lot to learn - including bedbugs can live for 18 months by going into a dormant state. For bedding, what kills bedbugs is running in the dryer on high heat - at 120 degrees F - for long enough to ensure that the items are completely hot all the way through. This will depend on if the items are wet to start with, how much is in the dryer, how thick the items are etc. I used to run my dry clothes for 40 minutes.
