Treating with Canned Air?
(4 posts)-
I believe were at the tail end of our problem (crossing my fingers!) - We'll see how the next few weeks go. Our exterminator is going to come back though and drill wholes and do a wall void treatment. Not sure of the chemicals there putting in there... but also they recommended using canned air to spray into the nasty - old baseboards. That couldnt hurt could it? Seems like a good idea to me - that stuff is freezing cold and would blow anything out of any crevice it hit.
What do you think? -
Hmmmmm, I don't think you will find that it kills then through the cold. In all fairness a home made version of a CO2 cooling system is not likely to be any better than the commercial version.
It could aggravate them enough to come out of their hiding places and thus be spotted but it could equally blow an egg out of its secure location and somewhere into the room.
I think its a two thumbs down to be honest.
What signs of activity are you seeing aside from bites?

Thanks for your opinion... We arent seeing much activity (which is good!) my husband was last bit Monday night in our bed and we found the bug that bit him in the morning under the box spring. Other than that he hadnt been bit in two weeks - sleeping in different locations around the house. He had surgery and had to sleep in the reclincer for a few nights. My husband and 2 year old are the only one's who show signs of being bitten - the baby has been back in his bed now for almost 2 weeks and hasnt had any bite marks. My older kids - they're room was where it all started - they dont show signs of being bitten either but we last saw a live one on their floor a week ago wednesday. We've had three treatments so far (5 in the boy's room) - Havent seen any blood stains or fecal stains either so I think we just gotta wait and see.

All I can see in my head is that scene from Spaceballs where the president is sitting at his desk opening up canned air because they are running out of oxygen.
