travelling bugs?

   I actually have a quick question. I just found bugs in my apartment so I'm a little paranoid now. But what does this mean as far as traveling? Should I be worried about them getting into my car? What if I want to stay at a friend's place for the weekend to visit? I don't want to look like the crazy guy packing everything in ziplock bags. And does this mean I can't have friends over?

   oh man....
   BuggedtoDeath---- it could be in your car.... but don't worry about that right now.
   and... you can transport them to your friends (i think my xbf transported them to my bedroom)....and yeah, you're going to be the "crazy guy packing everything in ziplocks"... for a while.
   you may want to tell your friends. you'd be surprised how many have/are going trhough the same thing.
   BUT---- in traveling, yeah, you need to take severe precautions... sorry my friend.

   Well I was going to sign off but the bad news is that ...I would NOT have any friends over until your infestation is over....You cannot in good conscience allow anyone to sit on your furniture and risk that they carry a bug home with them...as for your car...you should spray it down with an enzyme spray like KLEEN FREE...and you should be careful about what you bring into it from your apt...If you stay at a friends Place you should check yourself over 100 percent..and this is where the enzyme spray comes in handy..you can spray your shoes..and bottoms of pants....don't wear cuffed pants...and keep your cleaned jacket in a ziplock...unfortunately you have what I call a "communicable bug"....this whole epidemic sucks bigtime.....

   Well the story is for about the past week, all these bug bites started forming on my arms and legs. I couldn't explain it. So this past Monday, I showed them my arms, they went "oh my word" and they had the exterminator come in today to do an inspection.

   He found one.

   So now the whole process of me doing prep and paperwork and such started, and actually I just looked closer and saw one big one and a crapload of tiny ones under my mattress.

   I'm a little freaked out because, yes, essentially I just found them now.

   BTD, get some vodka, or anything, and pour it on them. and---- start vacuuming asap... really good.... every freaking day for a month.... and if you have a bagless vac, then you have to spray the nozzle and the inside with alchohol or steri fab or kleenfree while trying to remove the dust.
   oh poor thing. you actually JUST discovered them ---- aaarrrggghh!!! take a tylenol pm.

   hey everybody ... I just suggested to btd that he stay in just one thread the original one he started for a while ... so we can help him out better: if you can recall how all over the map I was ... when I got here ... and the forums were just being fixed .. god what a mess all of that was for us all
