Sorry if this is a duplicate of other posts.
Quick question: is this the most current, bedbugger.com-sanctioned info for travel precautions?

    http://bedbugger.com/2006/10/19/faq-how-can-i-avoid-bedbugs-while-traveling/

I want to send it to some loved ones, but it appears to be six years old so want to make sure it's the most current info. I thought I saw a link to a video on hotel inspections somewhere but I can't locate it anymore.

Most of my circle still don't perform any travel precautions because they don't think it's really an issue. Or they don't want to think about it at all (I can't blame them. I was this way for years). The ones who do take precautions may not be going about it in the most effective way.

Sadly, I'm not the best person to disseminate information to loved ones since my anxiety has reached epic proportions. And a highly anxious person trying to "educate" can end up having the opposite effect of the intent. So I'm looking for a balanced, practical piece to send that doesn't have any spurious information or emotional charge.

I cringe thinking how reckless I have been in the past while traveling, including overseas. The sad irony is that now I'm so debilitated by fear and anxiety I can't travel at all. : [ I'm sure there's a balance in there somewhere.

    Thanks,
    MindoverBBs

    Hi,

Condensed travel tips with a video on how to inspect a hotel room is here:

    http://www.bedbugbeware.com/traveltips.html

When I get home on Sunday I will be up to 4 hotels in 9 days spread across 4 cities and 2 countries. They all get the once over within minutes of getting into the room.

There's also a CBC video showing a hotel inspection in the FAQ you linked to.

Yes, I think the FAQ is pretty up to date. The links to the NYSIPM travel card and Packtite info were added after the original publication date, since these were not available back in 2006.

Dates FAQs are updatedaren't shown automatically by the software, though I try to add them manually now when making updates.
