Good evening good folks,

long miserable story, short version.

Bedbugs spring 08.. terrible allergic reaction.. doctor. she doesn't think it is bedbugs but won't touch me. (terrible feeling) expensive treatment.. loss of sleep... awful life changing anxiety... personal property.. follow up treatment in 3 weeks..
i follow protocol and live out of plastic bags for months.. feel crazy.

Start to relax in Oct 08. ONE week before i am to go visit my sweetie..bug bites again.. NO evidence anywhere... pay for dog to come... twice.. no hits.. have my prev. PCO come and says he sees no evidence. He treats and takes my double zip lock bag of suspects away with him.. i destroy and throw away Christmas stuff.. old pictures, shoes, records, purses.. my past. anything.. i throw them away,double plastic bag in the trash... life gets emptier. PCO sez none of the bugs are bbs.. i am astonished.. the bites.. the double entry of the bites.. the miserable itching.. the swelling.... my skin looks like i have been burned by hot water thrown on me..

Time passes... i had notified the bldg owner (moral obligation) & to to my understanding they treated all the apts around me..below and adoining... they paid for my 2nd treatment.

May 08...Honestly i am trying to make this short..the same apt bldg is going to be renovated... residents have migrated (me included) to alternate units until renov. completed.. i have been here two months next friday..

got bit last night...in bed.. big angry welts.. three of them on my neck... no evidence visible.. i have some new stuff in bedroom, but most of the items have been treated 4 times since last spring....

does anyone have any idea if this is 'typical"bb behavior..?

I forgot to add that the 'new' apt is not adjacent to mine & not treated...
here's one question i can't seem to dig up an answer for.. how long do bedbugs live with you b4 they start to bite? i have been NO WHERE>> no traveling.. no new places.. nothing like that.. i am sooooo unhappy to be back on this site.. after just finally relaxing in the past 2 weeks that it was over.. i am very grateful for the kinship and support of all of you.
