Since our friendly neighborhood bedbugs moved in with us we've had to change a few things around here.
My husband is no longer allowed to wear his black socks to bed. I got tired of getting the magnifying glass and examining little bits of lint!
I rise at dawn with the sun glaring down on me since I had to replace my chocolate brown blackout curtains with white sheers.
My bedroom no longer has a Native American motif since the colors were shades of brown and beige and that makes it hard to find little black specks. Now it looks like we're sleeping in a hospital with all the white!
My nighties were tossed and I now sleep in long sleeves, high neck and long pants. Yep, does wonders for your sex life NOT! :-)) Speaking of which...who in their right mind is going to take all their clothes off in bed anyway??? Seems like inviting them in for dinner.
We no longer eat any kind of seeded bread, bagels, rolls, etc. Maybe never will again. :-(
And last but not least, most of our clothes are too tight becasue of the constant washing in hot water and drying. Oh well, I needed to lose some weight anyway.
See? There IS a bright side if you only look for it.

LOL..I agree. My husband wears black socks to work..I'm constantly checking carpet for black specks. I don't wear high necks, etc. to bed...hot flashes..lol. And lately, the only touching that goes on in our house is him looking at every little mark on me because I'm paranoid everything is a bite. I have a pimple/follicle in my hairline..it doesn't itch, just sore like a pimple..I was completely paranoid. We've not seen anything bug wise for four weeks but I can't quit looking. My walls are a gold/tan color and I refuse to change them. I'll just have to look close with a flashlight.

P.S. We went to a restaurant tonight to eat..my husband thought getting me out of the house would help as when I'm home I tend to obsess by spending hours on this site. While it's educational..it's also fed my obsessiveness a bit. I wouldn't let anyone sit down until I checked the both.

You know what ... I have not had any of the problems but the seed thing Tossed my strawberry jam.... I have the white curtains I love the sun shinning in...(I live in the boon docks..)White sheets... white walls White pic frames, White pillowcases..sealed all nighties in Vacuumed sealed bags.. And most of the time I buy clothes one size to big just in case I shrink it plus the kids are growing like weeds... I guess I was really prepared I don't even have dressers for the kids cause I am afraid they will fall on them... put a second pole in the closet a bought a Huge book case and bolted it to the wall in each kids room put there extras in baskets with the cloth in them on the upper shelves and books on the lower ones.. ...( I am planning on painting the book case and baskets A bright White too ...)I have lost at least 5 lbs from all the extra work tho.. I was planning on Painting my room and the dinning room Mocha But that idea is gone now... Another bright side My spring cleaning is done and all those things I wanted to keep and were useless are gone to the lanfill ;~( ...
