Has anyone had success using ThermaPure thermal treatments? I'm moving in a few weeks and found a company that will use the treatment on all my belongings if I take it to their warehouse (they almost always do the treatment in individual homes, but have done the warehouse thing a few times). The rep I spoke to said it mostly works in one shot, but sometimes takes two...thoughts?

BTW -- the company is Alliance Enviro. I've found a few mentions on the site but no one has said whether the treatments worked or not.

ThermaPure is a licenser to a variety of PCOs.

I had thermal treatment from a ThermaPure licensee in June 2008 in my one bedroom apartment. One treatment successfully eradicated all my bed bugs.

There are three national companies that provicde Thermal Pure Heat.

Massey which is based out of Florida

    ThermaPure

    Temp-Air, headquartered out of Minnesota

These companies sell their own Heat Treating process.

ThermaPure process is slightly different in that they use a heppa air purifier with the heat process.

Air -puirification is not a factor in the thermal heat process in killing live bed bugs and eggs.

You may want to cotact the national offices of Massey and Temp-Air to see if they have someone in your area that provides Thermal Heat for the Killing of Bed bugs and eggs that can give you a estimate.

Who is the company doing this for you? Got some details of the prep and such?

Vikane or thermal can be a one shot cure if done proper and while several places do chamber or truck Vikan,e there aren't many we know of doing chamber or truck thermal.

It is nice to have options to consider, so who and where is this.

Since I see a few people asking about Thermal I figured I'd also mention a company in the tri-state area that does Thermal Treatments (both of homes/apartments and apparently they have a service for those wishing to move belongings via truck as well).

AAA Superior Pest Control. I have not used them (I am just in the beginning stages of possibly having a bed bug infestation) but have talked to their customer service people. The service for the moving truck would be $1,500 I believe (depends on the size of the truck) - I do not know if there were any guarantees in regards to the procedure - so ask first I suppose. Perhaps they will also do commodity thermal for cheaper if the amount to be treated is less?

    - New Blood.

    Jim,
I live in NKY and Xtreem Resolutions is heating my moving truck. I believe they are a therma pure provider. It will cost $500 plus cost for truck for my one bedroom apartment. They sent me a prep sheet for an in home heat treatment. I am expecting an e-mail that will instruct me on how to pack my belongings. My fear is that so far they are not providing a written guarantee. I have no choice but to stay with this course of treatment. I have had three chemical treatments which didn't work, and I am moving into my new apartment on the 15th. Any advice welcome.

I'm not sure, but I think my thermal treatment was sucessful. It melted my plastic storage containers, but my ziplocks are fine. All electronics survived and from what I can tell are bug free. Before treatment had bugs crawling out of my laptop keyboard, since treatment have not seen a single thing (knock on wood).
